Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per year + bonuses
We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic and exceptionally organised website project manager to join our fast-paced agency. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of website projects primarily developed on WordPress and Shopify platforms. Working very closely with a variety of captivating businesses, brands, and products from project kick-start, through to launch will be part of your everyday role.

What will you be doing day to day?
  • Managing multitude of projects in tandem
  • Sending daily / weekly updates of projects to clients as progress is made
  • Receive and Organise client feedback and content for an efficient handover to dev team
  • Ensure project timelines are kept up to date as the project progresses through the phases
  • Host review sessions with clients
  • Host handover sessions from design team to development team
  • Occasionally being involved for Q.A testing and feedback for project deliverables
  • Collaborating with both design and development teams to ensure projects come together whilst adhering to project timelines
  • Working closely with clients to ensure they are kept up to date with project progress, required items and reviews whilst managing expectations, this would be done via phone, email, Whatsapp and project management tools
  • Working closely with both head of production and the creative director to ensure projects are able to run smoothly whilst having support from other departments within the business
  • Working closely with head of production to ensure the project schedule allows projects to run smoothly and on-time by pre-mapping out the week ahead
  • Support the team in pre-sales for new opportunities
  • Working closely with both design and development team to ensure their schedule meets the needs of the projects on a weekly / daily basis
  • Ensure project deliverables always meet client and quality requirements
  • Effectively and efficiently resolve any project issues and blockers
  • Create and organise timing plans and hold regular status updates, providing accurate reports for timelines and due dates

Requirements:
  • 3-4+ years experience in a digital agency
  • 3-4+ years experience in Digital project management
  • Experience with Wordpress & Shopify Websites
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in tandem
  • Ability to work along side developers and designers
  • Ability to keep timelines, reports and phases up to date
  • Ability to risk assess and work proactively on overcoming obstacles
  • Ability to monitor project progress including time allocated vs. time spent
  • Ability to proactively respond to situations or issues throughout a project
Desirable but not essential:
  • Knowledge of Marketing
  • Have experience working with Trello / Notion project management tools
  • Experience working with a creative team
  • Ability to manage budgets


This role is a full-time position on a hybrid basis, typically working 1-2 days in the office, 3-4 days remote/from home. Our offices are based on the Colmore Business District, adjacent to Colmore Row, Birmingham.

The interview process for this role will consist of 3 stages
Stage 1 – Chemistry call.
This will be a 20-minute zoom meeting to chat through your experience: who you’ve worked with and what you’ve previously achieved through your previous positions and roles.

Stage 2 – In-Person Interview.
This will be a 1-hour session where we’ll discuss a range scenarios which allows you to demonstrate your thinking and capabilities to manage projects and situations as they arise. This will follow with a questions and answers session which will give both Sketch Creative and the candidate transparency around the role and company.

Stage 3 – Final Call
This will be a brief 15-minute zoom meeting to outline and discuss any final questions.
