Job Brief:
We are seeking a dynamic individual with an extraordinary track record in crafting cutting-edge user interfaces and interactions for websites and B2B applications. But that's not all—your skills will extend beyond the frontend realm as you delve into the backend of industry leading technologies to create seamless integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Helping with the design and development of software
- Testing and debugging software to keep it optimised
- Writing clean code for the front end of the application
- Developing and improving user facing features
- Ensuring cross-platform compatibility and optimisation
- Testing and maintaining the responsive design of applications
- Working with UI designers to design new features
- Keeping up with technological advances to optimise their software
- Communicating the effectiveness of emerging technologies to decision-makers
- Considering security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing
- Developing core products using angular JS
- Developing bespoke products, plug-ins and website features through Wordpress and Shopify
- Writing modular re-usable components
- Writing data driven B2B applications
- Collaborating with other team members to deliver high quality products.
You should have strong experience using:
- HTML & CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- Typescript
- Angular
- React
- REST API integration
- Experience with WordPress
- Git
- SCSS or LESS
- Node
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- In-depth understanding of the entire web-development process
- Sketch
Hybrid Role:
This role is a full-time position on a hybrid basis, typically working 1-2 days in the office, 3-4 days remote/from home. Our offices are based on the Colmore Business District, adjacent to Colmore Row, Birmingham.
