The Role
Our clients range from small businesses to large corporations and our team is responsible for creating a wide range of marketing, advertising and digital projects. We would like to add PR into the mix. We’re looking for someone to work 3 days per week, who can drive change, bring new ideas to the table, collaborate with others, exercise creativity and most importantly, have fun!

Head of Marketing
Your responsibilities will include:
Advise on all aspects of PR solutions, from PR stunts, white paper submissions to press releases and thought leadership content.
Building and maintaining a network of media contacts, including journalists and industry spokespeople.
Experience identifying, negotiating and contracting with influencers and talent.
Daily point of contact with key media contacts.
Attend client meetings - getting a full understanding from the brief, the end results, costs, timescales and updating clients on PR activities.
Get under the skin of the client's business asking questions and challenging the client when appropriate.
Developing news angles, stories and pitches to further the client’s profile, products and services.
Developing industry, sector and product focused PR campaigns.
Manage the client’s expectations and ensure we meet them, at all times, by meeting delivery deadlines, maintaining an effective relationship and rapport with them.
Bring problem-solving skills to the table and be able to devise and implement strategies.
Understand and monitor costs with the ability to set budgets, expectations and deliver results by fulfilling the client’s key performance indicators and growing accounts.
Being involved in pitching for new business and developing PR proposals.
Manage and influence senior-level client contacts and maintain positive working relationships.
Produce pitch documents in conjunction with the team and ability to present confidently to clients and prospects.
Grow existing accounts.
Ensure that the Agency is associated with outstanding PR delivery.
Keeping abreast of current PR trends and tools.
Should have:
5+ years Public Relations experience: content/copywriting/journalism/B2B/B2C PR (agency or in-house) and experience of dealing with the press.
High levels of communication - both presentation, verbal and written skills.
English Language Fluency: Excellent written and spoken English.
Impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise.
A passion for the media.
Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation.
Strong copywriting and marketing mastery.
Commercially aware and business savvy.
Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks.
Solid computer prowess and project management skills.
Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios.
Service focused and sensitive to confidential information.
